Instructions to fill out application for support staff position:

 A complete support staff application packet includes a letter of interest, resume, copies of transcripts (if required for the position), and a completed support staff application.

You may also include copies of other relevant documents such as clearances and certificates. Be sure to complete all sections of the application, as incomplete applications will not be considered.

While the application can be filled out online, it cannot be submitted online. You must print out the application, sign it, and submit via mail or fax.

Child Accounting/Special Education Secretary

Central Office

Part-time (20 hours/week), full year

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma plus prior experience in an administrative setting

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and set priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and database management

  • Prerequisite computer skills testing

 

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Act as Office of Student Services and Special Education liaison with Director of Information Technology for child accounting, attendance, residency, registration activities

  • Input and verify data and information in the student information system

  • In a timely manner monitor, submit and track state forms for reimbursement

  • Collection of data and assistance with preparation of state required reports and grants

  • Assist with monitoring, tracking, filing, compliance and placement of out-placed students

  • Assist with consistent and accurate updating of out-placed student log

  • Act as Office of Student Services and Special Education liaison for Homebound/Instruction in the Home programs

  • Daily lunchtime coverage of switchboard

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Hourly Rate Range TBD by Collective Bargaining Agreement. 2006-07 Rate Range: $12.01 - $15.93/hr

School Bus Drivers

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid PA Operator’s License

  • Safe driving record

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, patience, humor, compassion, courtesy, responsibility

  • Must pass physical examination and have a negative drug screening result

 

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Regular and punctual reporting for assigned duties

  • Transport students to and from school safely and on time, observing all traffic laws and Township traffic regulations

  • Perform pre- and post-trip walk-around inspection of vehicle

  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle

 

Hourly Rate: $19.47 (50 cents less for trainees)

Substitute Classroom Aides
Have some spare time between September and June?  Want to earn some extra money, but do not want to work every day?  Become a substitute aide for Radnor.  As a substitute you would be called on an as-needed basis, and you can accept or reject any assignment that does not fit your schedule for that day.  Some of the responsibilities of a substitute aide include monitoring/assisting children during daily activities and helping teachers in the classroom as needed.  Hourly rate for substitute aides is $11.93. 

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of interest, resume, support staff application, and a copy of your post high school transcripts (not from a college/university website) to the Human Resources Office.
