Substitute teaching/professional applications must include a copy of a PA Teaching/Professional Certificate. If you are newly graduated and have not received your certificate, you can check on your Certification Application Status by going to the Teacher Certification System (TCS) via the PA Department of Education website. Once your application status reads "Approved," you can print and send a copy of that screen as proof of having an approved PA certificate.
