Following on the heels of its National Blue Ribbon Award, RMS was recently named a PA Don Eichhorn Schools: "Schools to Watch." RMS is one of 6 schools in PA being recognized this year.
Presented by RTSD, the PTOs/PTSA, local districts, and area Leagues of Women Voters, the event will feature a panel of experts on student sleep. Teacher and administrator forums will also take place Feb. 22.
"Staying Smart & Safe Online" will feature three, separate presentations by the Radnor Police, a parent whose son took his own life after being cyber-bullied, and a national expert on "cyber-integrity" and positive technology use on Feb. 3, Feb. 24, and March 6 & 7 at Radnor Middle School.
Travel to Sherwood Forest with the cast of Radnor Middle School's all-school musical, "Robin Hood," from March 10-12.
In addition to RTSD being one of just 425 districts in the U.S. and Canada to achieve this distinction, 167 current and former RHS students were named Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars. Current students were honored at a breakfast on Feb. 3.
Parents are invited to complete the registration process during in-person registration days on March 10 and 11 at each elementary school.
The 8th-grader outlasted nine other finalists in the school-wide Geographic Bee on Jan. 8. He will now try to qualify for the PA State Geographic Bee Championship this spring.
