At a special meeting on Jan. 31, the School Board approved a resolution opposing legislation that would do away with school property tax. Radnor citizens are encouraged to join the cause.
Radnor Middle School invites parents of current RTSD and non-RTSD 5th-graders who will be entering RMS next school year to learn more about the school.
K-5 students and parents are invited to choose from 35 exciting hands-on activities at the district's 3rd annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Math event on April 20 at 7 p.m. at RMS. Pre-registration required.
Registration packets can be downloaded and completed. In-person registration days for new kindergarten and elementary parents will also take place March 9 and 10 at respective schools.
As part of School Director Recognition Month, Board President David Falcone, Esq., Vice President Susan Michaelson, Julia Bohnenberger, Patricia Booker, Amy Goldman, Charles E. Madden III, Michael Miller, Lydia T. Solomon and Susan Stern were thanked for their dedicated work on behalf of the Radnor community.
Currently the Assistant to the Superintendent at Unionville Chadds-Ford School District, Mr. Batchelor brings 22 years of experience in public education to RTSD. He is expected to officially assume his full-time duties on Jan. 30, 2017.
David Falcone, Esq. had been the Board's Vice President, while Susan Michaelson had been the Board's President. Both were elected unanimously on Dec. 6.
