In addition to RTSD being one of just 425 districts in the U.S. and Canada to achieve this distinction, 167 current and former RHS students were named Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars. Current students were honored at a breakfast on Feb. 3.
"Staying Smart & Safe Online" will feature three, separate presentations by the Radnor Police, a parent whose son took his own life after being cyber-bullied, and a national expert on "cyber-integrity" and positive technology use on Feb. 3, Feb. 24, and March 6 & 7 at Radnor Middle School.
Parents are invited to complete the registration process during in-person registration days on March 10 and 11 at each elementary school.
Presented by RTSD, the PTOs/PTSA, local districts, and area Leagues of Women Voters, the event will feature a panel of experts on student sleep. Teacher and administrator forums will also take place Feb. 22.
Students, staff, parents and community members are participating in a variety of charitable efforts this holiday season.
All RTSD students in grades 3-12 experienced an "Hour of Code" along with millions of their peers throughout the world as part of Computer Science Education Week, Dec. 7-11.
Susan Michaelson and David Falcone, Esq. were elected President and Vice President, respectively, at a Dec. 8 Board Reorganization Meeting. New and incumbent members Julia Bohnenberger, Patricia Booker, Amy Goldman, Chuck Madden and Mike Miller were sworn in.
