RADNOR EDUCATION FOUNDATION GRANT RESOURCES

  • PDE Standards Aligned Systems Use this site to access PDE standards and resources.
  • A new cycle of ACT 48 hours begns on July 1, 2010 for most professionals.  Educators must accumulate 180 hours of professional development every 5 years or their certificates will be deemed "inactive".
  • PDE on-line courses eligible for Act 48 credit check to see if you qualify for free classes.  Click here:  http://pa.professionaleducation.org/
  • To apply for Act 48 hours for college credits earned in a college outside of PA, educators should send their sealed transcripts to: PDE- ACT 48 Transcripts, 333 Market Street, 8th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17126-0333.
  • To apply for ACT 48 hours for college credits earned in state (PA) colleges and universities educators should contact school's registrar.
  • In state (PA) school districts and *approved  providers* will submit earned hours to PDE electronically from their site.  Educators should request this service from the provider.
  • Out of state schools and non-approved providers cannot credit educators with in-servicve/professional development hours/CEU's for PA ACT 48.
