Delaware County Bar Association 2014 Law Day Poster Contest, grades K-2 and 3-5. Law Day will be held on Fri., May 2 and students are asked to submit a poster depicting the following topic: "As a kid, how does your vote count at home, school, or in your community?" Submissions must be received by Mon., April 21. Please see attached for more information. Questions? Contact Amy Jo Cooper.

Parents and students: Please check the Lost and Found area along the wall in the Cafetorium. There are numerous items, including coats, left there.

Student Access to Raz-Kids and XtraMath on an iPad: Raz-Kids has an app that is free in the app store. Parents can simply use their teacher's username and then their child can access their class homepage just like they do on the computer. XtraMath does not have an app, but you can use Safari on the iPad to go onto the XtraMath site, log-in and complete activities. There is a number pad right on the screen that the students can use, which is user-friendly. It is easiest if students view the site in landscape, not portrait. Users may have to adjust the size of the screen (pinching their finger in or pushing fingers out) to get the entire page on the screen to view. But again, it works just like it does when using it on a PC.

From the Nurses: Here is a wonderful resource on seasonal allergies from the Nemours Foundation. You can also subscribe to their weekly e-newsletter which covers a variety of health topics for parents and kids.
