RHS Winter Season Recap

Boys’ Swimming

• Central League Championships, placed in the top three finishers in 5 of the 11 events (3 firsts, 2 seconds)

• 16 boys (most ever) qualified for Districts (most ever) to be held 2/29 and 3/1 at LaSalle University

• States (held at Bucknell University on 3/13-3/15) qualifiers to be determined at Districts

Girls’ Swimming

• Central League Championships, placed in top three finishers in 6 of the 11 events (2 firsts, 2 seconds, 2 thirds)

• 15 girls qualified for Districts

• States qualifiers to be determined at Districts

Boys’ and Girls’ Diving- individual fourth place finish at CAL dhampionships

Wrestling

• 7 RHS wrestlers advanced from Sectionals to Districts (scheduled for 2/23)

• 2 (of the 7) wrestlers are moving on to Regionals, scheduled for 2/29 and 3/1;

• States scheduled for 3/6 to 3/8

Girls’ Basketball

• Won first round PIAA District One AAA Tournament vs. Villa Joseph Marie, losing in second round to Villa Maria

Boys’ Basketball

• Won first round PIAA District One AAA Tournament vs. Phoenixville H.S., losing in second round to Holy Ghost Prep

Boys’ Ice Hockey

• Regular season 19^th of 28 teams, ICSHL Division playoffs 3/4 to 3/7

• Regular season 4^th of 8 teams, ICSHL Division playoffs 3/4 to 3/7

Girls’ Indoor Track

8 girls qualified for States (at Penn State 2/29 and 3/1)

Boys’ Indoor Track

• No boys qualified for States… last chance meet at Haverford College 2/23.

• Our boys’ 4 X 800 relay placed first but missed the State qualifying time by 1 second.
