![]() Honoring Ellis Dwyer (Coach 1942-1973) -- Basketball Mr. Dwyer was a legendary coach during his thirty years at RHS. Under his direction, Radnor won numerous league and district basketball titles, and advanced to the state championship game in 1960. While coaching at Radnor, Ellis's teams won over 500 games! On Friday, February 3, 2012 Radnor Township School District will honor the memory of Mr. Dwyer by naming the RHS main gym in his honor. There will be a double header (girls & boys) basketball game that night - the ceremony will be held the following the Varsity Boys game. Reception in the RHS Hall of Fame will follow the game. Many of Mr. Dwyer's family will be on hand for the dedication. Alumni who knew or played for Mr. Dwyer are invited to attend. Lost & Found The Pennsylvania State Police recently recovered several stolen rings - one is a men's RHS class ring! A picture of the ring recovered is seen below. If you have had your class ring stolen and think this might be yours, please contact State Trooper Robert S Kirby, Pennsylvania State Police, at 484-840-1041. Happy New Year! RHS All-Class Reunion On November 12, 2011 the first ever RHS All-Class Reunion was held following the Radnor-LM Homecoming Game at the Radnor Financial Center (site of the old Sears). Over 300 RHS alumni were in attendance. A great time was had by all! Look for the next All-Class Reunion in 2013 (next home LM Game). If you attended the reunion, we want to hear from you. Alumni in the News NPR story highlighting the career of Radnor Alum Emlen Tunnell - read & hear more Radnor High School is partnering with Harris Connect to produce an Alumni Directory. Look for an information request card to come in the mail in the next few weeks and please respond! Seeking Alumni Stories Mrs. Wysocki at Radnor High School is retiring after this year. Several of the RHS teachers are looking to collect student stories about Mrs. Wysocki and create a book to present to her upon retirement at the end of the year. It will be hard to imagine the high school without her!
