Have you been collecting Box Tops? It's time to turn them in! Deadline for submission is Oct 30th. Send them in with your child or drop them off in the school office. Then keep clipping... there will be another submission date in the spring! Also, if you haven't already, send your Giant Bonus card number to Giselle Gordon to help with this easy fundraiser!
 
Halloween Parade and parties will take place on Friday, October 31st, 2pm. The parade will take place on the red top outside again this year. Parent volunteers that are pre-signed up will attend the parties as instructed by your homeroom parent and/or teacher. 
 
RES Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and Halloween Candy Collection is November 1-12th. Click here to see what food items your grade is collecting and don’t forget to send in that candy for our troops!
 
RES PTO Book Fair featuring Scholastic Books is week of November 10-14th. Click here for class schedules, payment information, and an “Out with the Old” book donation program. 
 
Calling all Young Authors! RES Publishing wants to make your child’s story into a book! From stories that are All About Them to entertaining tales about their favorite trip to amazing original stories, we think it all should be published. It’s simple -- you send us their story and we will return it as an adorable, hard-backed keepsake that is written and illustrated by your child. November 13 - at 6:30pm the Radnor Educational Foundation will host the “One Team, One Dream” Radnor Raider All Stars vs. the Harlem Wizards basketball extravaganza at the RHS gym. On Friday, October 31, PTO liaisons to REF and REF board members will be selling tickets beginning at 1:30 at the elementary schools. General admission seats are $12. We will be able to accept cash or check only – exact change is appreciated. You can also purchase tickets online.
 
On the heels of the Keystone Exam Forum held in Radnor on October 7, many parents have asked what they can do to make a difference with the current PA Keystone Exam mandate that requires that all students, starting with the class of 2017, pass the current three Keystones exams in biology, algebra and world literature - in order to graduate high school in PA.  Click here for more information on this subject.

Presented by D.E.L.T.A. (Districts Educating and Learning Through Arts - a consortium of PTO Cultural Arts representatives from Radnor and surrounding districts). Tickets available online or at the door.
