PTO Headlines
PTO Meeting scheduled for Jan 21st was canceled due to inclement weather. Please join us at our next PTO meeting on March 4 when Roberta Winters from the Women League of Voters will be our guest speaker and give a talk on School Board 101. At the May 6th meeting, 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Cornman, will demonstrate how iPads are being used at RES. Please join us in the RES Library as we plan to discuss upcoming events and school funding needs. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Attention 5th grade parents! WE NEED PICTURES! Please take a moment to gather & UPLOAD photos of your child (individual) and (group pictures) of friends for the yearbook. If we don't have the pictures, we won't be able to ensure that your child will be in the yearbook. We'd like to have the 5th grade class represented in it's entirety, so please UPLOAD your photos by the end of January! Instructions are on the RES/PTO webpage under 5th grade activities. We could use photos of all field trips, concerts, and class parties from all the years at RES.  Please upload your JPEGs to DROPBOXWe need NON smartphone photos as those photos are not producing the best the quality for the book. ALL PICTURES MUST BE TAKEN AT RES or on an RES field trip. If you haven't sent in your money, please do so ASAP. More info can be found on 5th Grade Yearbook and Activities page.
Calling all Young Authors! RES Publishing wants to make your child’s story into a book! From stories that are All About Them to entertaining tales about their favorite trip to amazing original stories, we think it all should be published. It’s simple -- you send us their story and we will return it as an adorable, hard-backed keepsake that is written and illustrated by your child. For more information, questions or you would like to volunteer, please contact Janine Bowers. INFO
