No School for Students/Teacher In-Service on Fri., Sept. 25 for staff to focus on preparation for hybrid instruction beginning Tues., Sept. 29.
Following Board approval on 9/22, students in grades K, 1, 2, 6, 9 and 12 will begin the transition to Phase 2: Hybrid on 9/29 followed by the in-person return of all grades by Oct. 2.
While the district is currently educating students in a fully virtual environment, we continue to prepare for a transition to modified in-person (hybrid) instruction with a fully virtual option.
A message from the superintendent addresses a recent announcement from the Central League to adopt a “League Only” competition schedule for the Fall season and the district's intention to discuss this development at the 9/29 regular Board meeting.

Maya Casillas, Colin Cheshire, Jesse Conen, Shanti Hug, Brendan Hung, Richa Kuklani, Soo Min Lee, Mohen Li, Jane O'Grady, and Joshua Yoo were named semifinalists in the competition.
Due to the USDA extension of nationwide waivers to continue the Seamless Summer Option, RTSD is able to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to district residents under the age of 18.
Dr. Joseph "Mac" MacNamara was appointed the new Assistant Principal of RHS during the 8/11 Special Board Meeting. He replaces Brett Thomas, who has transitioned to Assistant Principal of WES.
