Mrs. Alexis Carr
Welcome to Mrs. Carr’s 3rd-grade classroom! I can’t believe that this is my tenth year working in Radnor Township School District. While I have taught at all three elementary schools, Wayne Elementary School has a special place in my heart. Do you want to know why? Well, when I was your age, I went to Wayne Elementary School! I have taught kindergarten and first grade but I love teaching third grade.
In my free time, I enjoy keeping up with my toddler named Todd and my little baby girl. I love going on outdoor adventures with my husband Josh and two dogs. My four birds are also a constant source of amusement!
What's Happening in Third Grade?
We have reached that point in the year where students are counting down the days until homework is replaced with endless play time outside with friends! While the students might be counting down the days until June 21st, we are still busy squeezing in a few last important tasks. We will play some fun math games as we circle back to some concepts that were introduced earlier in the year and some classes will complete their books clubs or final film units of the year. We will also be sure to carve out time to celebrate all the great accomplishments and events of this memorable year!
