    Radnor Elementary School
Read Across America Week highlighted the past month here at Radnor Elementary Library. RTSD Librarians, Mrs. Amy Piechotta & Mrs. Michelle Wetzel, Read Across the Globe! Using FaceTime, the librarians connected and Mrs. Wetzel read to Mrs. Piechotta’s kindergarten class via the smartboard from Sydney  Australia. It was an “Ace!” of a time as we said, “Gday!”. Our classrooms were filled with guest readers from the Police and Fire Departments, Villanova University, Administration, the School Board, RHS, former teachers/staff and many more. The halls were filled with reading at 2:00pm as we participated in RTSD Radnor Reads.
    Library lessons included:
    • Tumble books
    • Musical Chairs Book Walk
    • Noodletools
    • Thumbs up/Thumbs down book reviews
    • Crayola Colorcycle
Students stamped their passports as we visited Egypt in Specials’ Classes, during International Week. Many thanks to our RES Parent volunteers who managed the International week program. RES Library is looking forward to S.T.E.A.M.ing ahead with Maker Spaces in the spring.
