Meet the Administration
Dr. David M. Wiedlich, Principal
Dr. David M. Wiedlich joined Radnor Middle School as Principal in July 2019. He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Elementary Education, and his Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and graduate certificates in Peer Coaching and Collaboration and Educational Administration from The Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Doctor of Educational Leadership from Neumann University. He is currently completing his Letter of Eligibility program with Neumann University.
Dr. Wiedlich’s teaching career began in The School District of Philadelphia at John Welsh Elementary (K-8). He made his way to the Downingtown Area School District in 2003, and was an English and Social Studies teacher, in addition to a high school Track and Field and middle school Cross Country coach. In 2014, he transitioned into the role of Assistant Principal at Lionville Middle School, Downingtown Area School District.
Dr. Wiedlich is currently a Regional Representative for the Pennsylvania Principals Association and serves on the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils Board of Directors.
Dr. Christine Bryan, Assistant Principal
Dr. Christine Bryan joined RTSD in October 2019 from Downingtown Area School District, where she served as the Supervisor of Special Education since 2013. In this role, Dr. Bryan supervised both regular and special education programs and staff and acted as the PASA/PSSA coordinator and the Extended School Year (ESY) coordinator. Prior to this position, Dr. Bryan spent 13 years as a Special Education Teacher and Department Chair in West Chester Area School District Dr. Bryan earned degrees from West Chester University (B.S. Special Education) (M.Ed. Elementary Education), and Arcadia University (Ed.D. Special Education).
In addition to her role as Assistant Principal of Radnor Middle School, Dr. Bryan serves RTSD as the Supervisor of Teaching and Learning for Family and Consumer Science.
Dr. Douglas Kent, Assistant Principal
Dr. Kent joined RTSD in February 2015 from Spring-Ford Area School District, where he served as House Principal of Spring-Ford Intermediate/Middle School (Grades 5-8) since July 2012. In this role, Dr. Kent's responsibilities include student discipline, staff observations, scheduling, determining professional development needs, and acting as the local education agency representative for all Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Gifted Individualized Education Plans (GIEPs) and Chapter 15 (Section 504) Service Agreements.
Dr. Kent has also served as House Principal of Spring-Ford Area High School, an Assistant Principal of Sun Valley High School and an American Government teacher at Upper Dublin High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from West Chester University and a Master's Degree and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University.
In addition to his role as Assistant Principal of Radnor Middle School, Dr. Kent serves RTSD as the Supervisor of Teaching and Learning for K-12 Music.
