Dear Parent or Guardian,
The Winter Session of the state-mandated Keystone Exams will be held December 2nd through December 13th. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 A.M. Please make every effort to have your student arrive on time. Homeroom will occur after the testing is completed. We have allotted approximately 120 minutes for each testing module.
The Spring Session of the state-mandated Keystone Exams is scheduled May 11th through May 22nd.
The following students will take a Spring Keystone Exam:
- Students who are currently enrolled in College Prep or Advanced Algebra I.
- Students who are currently enrolled in College Prep, Advanced, or Honors Biology.
- Students who are currently enrolled in College Prep, Advanced, or Honors World Literature, as well as those enrolled in Global Issues.
- Any student who has completed Algebra I, Biology, or 10th grade English and who has not yet taken the Keystone Exam in that subject area.
Keystone remediation is no longer required for students who do not achieve proficiency on the Keystone Exams. As a result, Radnor High School will not offer Keystone courses in the 2019-2020 school year. Students still have the option to re-test on the Keystone Exams; however, they will not have the option to do the Project Based Assessment to achieve proficiency. If a student wishes to retest, they need to inform both their guidance counselor and me. Act 158 applies to the Class of 2022 and beyond.
