Bring Your Own iPad Option
Radnor Township School District recognizes families may own an iPad and would prefer their student use this personal device. Families who wish to bring their own device (BYOD) must ensure that the iPad meets the technical requirements below and has the full version of all core apps on the device for the start of the school year.
For the purpose of this program, students must use an iPad Air2 or newer with at least 64GB of storage and wifi compatibility.
Students who elect to bring their own iPad will be responsible for purchasing/installing the full versions of the core apps. Students may be asked to download additional free or paid apps during the year.
Security and Damage
Keeping the iPad secure rests with the individual owner; Radnor High School is not liable for any personal iPad that is stolen or damaged while on or off campus. If a personal device is stolen or damaged, it will be handled through the RHS administrative office similar to other personal artifacts that are lost, stolen or damaged.
Internet access will be provided by the District via wireless connectivity. The District's network filters will be applied to a personal iPad's wifi connection to the Internet. The District cannot filter any Internet site or content if a personal iPad is running on a cellular connection.
