Volunteers

  • Volunteers are an essential component to the success of RTSD schools and students. All adult volunteers entering our schools to work with children must have the clearances mandated by the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law.

If you are planning to volunteer in your child's school, a completed clearance packet must be submitted, in person, to the Human Resources Department (135 South Wayne Ave., Wayne) every sixty (60) months.

Update to Volunteer Requirements for 2021-22 School Year: Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID-19 Test

    • Volunteers (including chaperones of trips) are expected to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 rapid test or PCR test to engage in volunteer activities for Radnor Township Schools.

    • Volunteers without a vaccination may provide proof of a negative rapid test or PCR test to the school office within two days of the event that they wish to volunteer. The test must be verified by a medical professional.

    • Proof of vaccination or negative test is additional to standard mandated clearances

      • Existing Volunteers should provide a copy of their vaccination card, and/or negative test to their respective school office. Thereafter, the copy of the vaccination card should be sent to the RTSD Human Resources Department.
      • New Volunteers should provide a copy of their vaccination card directly to the RTSD Human Resources Department.
