Parent-Teacher Organizations and Parent-Teacher-Student Association
Each of the district’s three elementary and one middle school maintains its own active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and the high school has a Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). These five-parent led 501c3 volunteer organizations hold open meetings regularly throughout the year to keep parents informed of upcoming school and district activities. They also plan and run many school activities, host speakers and serve as a resource to help parents feel an even stronger connection to their child’s school experience.
All parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to actively participate in their school’s PTO or PTSA. Roles of all shapes and sizes are available and new ideas are welcome. Please visit your school’s PTO/PTSA webpage and or contact the parent volunteers below to learn more about what we do and how you can get involved.

PTO/PTSA Information App
The RTSD PTOs & PTSA are replacing the annual printed student directory with MySchoolAnywhere, an online application. The app will include class lists, useful links, sign-ups for class and school and PTO events, and will be our primary vehicle for sending PTO/PTSA communications such as monthly newsletters, special announcements, and emails from class parents and team coordinators.
