STEM Night 2019
Radnor Township School District is currently planning the 5th annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Night for elementary students on April 11th, 2019 from 7:00-8:35pm.
This event is designed to provide students with the opportunity to engage in hands-on inquiry based science, in hopes that we may inspire a young scientist, engineer, mathematician, health professional, software developer or other STEM-related career.
We are looking to local organizations to help support us in these efforts by developing and leading a session or two for our students.
- Each hands-on session will last approximately 25 minutes, and would run three consecutive times during the time frame of 7:00-8:35 pm.
- All activities should have a "hands on" component and preferably a "take away" if possible.
- Activities should appeal to students in grades K-5.
- Parents/guardians will be attending the sessions with students and may help (particularly the younger students) with more complicated tasks.
We anticipate approximately 15 students (and their parents/guardian) per sessions. We strongly encourage organizations to share information regarding careers as we are hoping to expose students to interesting and exciting careers that are STEM-related.
If you are interested in hosting an activity, please complete the presenter registration form by February 1st.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Anthony Rybarczyk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
