STEAM in the Summer (Elementary and Middle School Summer Camp)
STEAM in the Summer is an exciting summer camp opportunity for RTSD 3rd to 8th Grade students.
Students will start each day with an engineering design challenge followed by instruction and exploration of new technology. Throughout the camp, students may explore computer programming and work with a variety of programmable robots, experiment with augmented and virtual reality, take on Breakout Box challenges and engage in other STEAM related activities. Each day will provide exciting hands-on experiences aimed at furthering important 21st century skills such as problem solving and critical thinking. Students will leave with a foundation for further exploration of coding, computer science and programming, the use augmented and virtual reality tools and the process of gamification.
