Science & Nature Club - Spring 2020

  •

Science Club presented by Science Explorers offers 2 exciting options for Winter/Spring 2020!  We will offer two 5 week sessions, the first, beginning in February, focuses on Weather, and the second, starting in April, focuses on Outrageous Animals.  Please see class descriptions below.

ONLY SESSION 2 WILL BE AVAILABLE IN SPRING REGISTRATION!

     Oozy, Odd, Outrageous Animals

From slippery, slimy banana slugs to poison dart frogs, we’ll explore the world of wacky creatures that suck blood, make slime, “fly” without wings, and re-grow all sorts of parts!  Check out a real centipede and see if it really has 100 legs, create your own slug-slime, mix up a vampire bat treat that you can eat, make a “flying” squirrel, and examine the anatomy of a frog.
