2019-2020 Before & After School Clubs

Entrepreneurship Club

  • Entrepreneurship involves a mindset coupled with a skill set that can be taught and developed. Young people are filled with ideas and enthusiasm, which are the backbone of the Entrepreneurship Mindset! And with a little coaching, kids can be turned into problem-solvers and future entrepreneurs.

The Radnor Education Fund and BuildEd Co. approached Mr. Serpico, a teacher at RES and an entrepreneur in his own right, about "launching" a new after school club for boys and girls in grades 3, 4 and 5 who may be interested in the process of entrepreneurship. Participants will learn how to identify problems and build a business model aimed at solving such problems, or create a product or service to meet a need in a community.

This club is a beta test - it's new for all involved. Club will meet on Tuesdays at 3:45-4:45 beginning on Tuesday, October 1 and will run for 20 weeks (10 weeks before winter break, and 10 weeks after).

The club has limited participation and a total of 7 boys and 7 girls from grades 3-5 will be selected via lottery. Registration for the lottery will open on September 23 and close at 5:00 pm on September 27. The lottery will be drawn after registration closes and you will be notified by September 30 if your child's registration has been selected. Scroll down on this page to access the registration form.

The participation fee is $220/child and is only payable if your child is selected in the lottery. Please remember that the PTO does not want any child to be left out of activities due to finances. If you require any assistance with the participation fee, please contact Dr. Stevenson.

If you have any questions, please contact Radnor PTO Clubs.
