Back-to-School Parent/Guardian Portal
For the 2019-20 school year, Radnor Township School District is launching an online service for all parents/guardians to complete most required back-to-school forms online instead of through a paper packet that would typically arrive home the first day of school or in the mail. Parents/guardians are also able to review and update contact information currently on file in the district.
The new "Back-to-School Parent/Guardian Portal," provided by the education software company PowerSchool, is a secure web-based system that allows the district to verify all demographic, emergency, and medical information for students at the start of a new school year.
The system also allows parents/guardians to read and complete forms and indicate receipt and review of other informational materials. When parents/guardians access the portal using a unique snapcode provided via email, the system will be pre-populated with most of the contact information currently on file for parents/guardians and students, including the most recently provided emergency contact information. While a review of all information in the portal is important, it is imperative parents/guardians check their emergency information and update as needed.
A green solution to the back-to-school process, the Back-to-School Parent/Guardian Portal replaces most of the hard copy documents the district requires from parents/guardians at the start of each school year. NOTE, YOU WILL NEED A "SNAPCODE" TO ACCESS THE PORTAL. THE CODE WILL BE SENT TO YOUR PRIMARY EMAIL ADDRESS BY THE RTSD CENTRAL REGISTRAR, AMELIA DOUGHERTY. IF YOU BELIEVE YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A SNAPCODE, PLEASE EMAIL BACKTOSCHOOL@RTSD.org.
Due to the significance of the information collected, if you haven't completed your submission by the requested date of Sept. 13, 2019, please complete your submission ASAP.
Trouble With Snapcodes?
We have received reports that certain parents/guardians may not have received a snapcode(s) for logging into the Back-to-School Parent/Guardian Portal. We understand it is important for parents/guardians to receive this information and are diligently working on a resolution. Please email backtoschool@RTSD.org if you believe you did not receive a snapcode and we will assist you ASAP. Thank you for your patience as we implement this new process.
