Multicultural Committee

  • Multicultural Committee

Hello, Aloha, Bonjour, Guten Tag, Hola, Konichi Wa, Layho, Namaste, Ni Hao, Olá, Salaam, Shalom!

The Multicultural Committee provides opportunities to increase awareness of the value of diversity via a variety of events throughout the year, including International Week which typically falls during the last week in January.  International Week celebrates a chosen country during the week and culminates in a school-wide potluck dinner. Potluck Dinner will be on January 31, 2020.

    The Multicultural Committee welcomes you!

Our committee provides opportunities to increase the awareness and the value of diversity. We work with the school and PTO to create an environment where every student and their family feel comfortable and supported in sharing new ideas and perspectives. Join us as we embrace cultural diversity! We invite and encourage ALL families - new, returning, and ELL (English Language Learner) - to meet, to share, and to learn about all the varied cultures that make up our wonderful Wayne Elementary School community.

Throughout the school year, we have gatherings and events that are a wonderful way to meet and connect with other WES parents and become a part of the school community.

Walking Group

  • We invite you to become a part of our Walking Group. While not formally organized by our committee, many of us walk when we have the time and the weather is permitting. It is open to anyone and is a way to meet parents from other Radnor schools.

If you are interested in walking with the group, we meet Thursday mornings at 9:20 AM by Vic and Dean’s parking lot on West Wayne Avenue. Please email Rogeria Kaisermann at to be added to the list.

For more information or any questions, please email Multicultural Committee co-chairs Geeta Kapadia or Rogeria Kaisermann at
