Important Updates
The RTSD Health and Safety Plan was amended to remove the requirement to return to masking when 2.5% of a school building is Covid-positive.

Based on the district's current rates of spread and the possibility for increased spread over Spring Break, RTSD will have a virtual day of instruction the day after break and Covid testing will be available.

Based on 2/25 CDC guidance, students and staff are no longer required to wear masks on school transportation. Masks are also no longer required at after-school indoor spectator events.

All students, staff and visitors can determine their own masking status beginning Feb. 24 after an unanimous Board vote approving changes to the Radnor Health and Safety Plan on Feb. 22.

Administration is recommending a change to Radnor's Health and Safety Plan to remove the mask requirement when positive case counts are less than 2.5% of a school or building's total student and staff population.

An update was provided at the 1/25 Board meeting on the district's refinement of Covid-19 mitigation strategies. Masks will continue to be required at this time and potential adjustments to our Health and Safety Plan will be considered at the 2/22 meeting.

After-school Covid-19 booster shot clinics for eligible RTSD students ages 12 and up will be held Tues., Jan. 25 and Thurs., Jan. 27 from 5-8 p.m. at RES. Registration and vax form required.

We appreciate everyone’s assistance with screening their child(ren) for Covid-19 symptoms before sending them to school.

Children properly masked and distanced three feet or more from the positive case are not considered close contacts and do not need to quarantine.

With masking requirements in place, gaiters are not permitted as a face covering option for students or staff.

The state announced that masks will be mandated in all K-12 schools in the state, public and private, effective September 7.

We are pleased to announce RHS and RMS will join our elementary schools and begin transitioning from Hybrid to Full In-Person learning beginning Mon., March 15.
