Miss Tatyana Oksyuk

Tatyana Oksyuk earned her Masters degree in Orchestral Conducting/Piano Pedagogy and Bachelors degree in Music Education both from West Chester University. Miss Oksyuk  studied Orchestral Conducting under Dr. Ovidiu Marinescu at WCU, where she was a graduate conductor of WCU symphony orchestra, as well as an assistant conductor of the Wilmington Community orchestra under Tim Schwarz.

Her goal as a performer and an educator is: to intentionally communicate the surface and depth of music, to inspire students to achieve greater potential in their musical development, and have a life-long enjoyment and growth in music.
Miss Oksyuk maintains a piano studio for beginning to advanced students of all ages, where she combines traditional Russian school of piano playing with contemporary methodologies and resources.

Miss Oksyuk was a participant of Brandywine International Piano Institute with Maestro Anthony di Bonaventura summer of 2012 and played in different concerts in Ukraine, China, and US. As a pianist, Tatyana accompanies varies string, voice, and chamber recitals, including MENC Conference at Mansfield and ASTA Conference at Atlanta for a state winner.

Miss Oksyuk was honored as a recipient of many awards including Connie Murray Piano Scholarship, WCU Piano Pedagogy Award, Lloyd C. Mitchell Piano Scholarship, Robert L. Carl Keyboard Scholarship, etc.
