Veterans Day Hall of Honor ~ Nov. 11
Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11th, is a time to honor all individuals who have served in the United States Armed Forces, in times of war or peace. Many veterans live or work in our community or have relatives who attend or work at RMS. Many veterans attended RMS! Our physical and digital Wall of Honor is a way to thank these veterans and their families for their service to our country.
The RMS PTO invites its students, parents, teachers, and other community members to nominate a U.S. Military Veteran for our third annual Veterans Day Wall of Honor. Each veteran’s profile will be displayed in the halls of RMS during the week of November 11th, and we will also share the tributes via a digital format. If you would like to recognize a loved one who is a veteran or on active duty, please submit a tribute using this template to Jannie Lau. We request the veteran's name, rank, dates of active duty, and a brief summary of his or her service. A digital color photo is appreciated. A completed template is available here for your reference.
If you would like to resubmit a tribute from prior years, please send a confirmation email to Jannie Lau.

RMS PTO Open Positions
The RMS PTO has a few vacancies and we welcome members of the RMS community to express their interest in either of these roles by emailing RadnorMSPTO@gmail.com by SEPTEMBER 30.
RMS PTO Treasurer
The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of the PTO funds and shall keep an accurate account of all PTO funds and ensures books and records are kept in such a manner to facilitate an annual audit.
A Treasurer's report is to be presented at every general PTO and Board of Directors meeting. The Treasurer works closely with the President, the Executive Board, and Committee Chairs in managing funding requests, reimbursements, cash boxes, etc. Every spring the Treasurer and President present a PTO budget for the following school year.
RMS PTO Board of Directors
Members of the RMS PTO Board of Directors are encouraged to attend PTO meetings. The Board is responsible for conducting any business as requested by the Officers and any urgent business that cannot wait until the next regularly scheduled general meeting of the PTO. The Board of Directors also votes to approve the proposed annual budget at the last Board meeting of the year.

Our school would like your help coordinating and facilitating communications between lead teachers and parents in each respective group. Please sign-up HERE. These are the team colors for the 2021-22 school year:

- Grade 7 - Green, Orange, Purple, Watershed
- Grade 8 - Bronze, Chrome, Copper, Gateways, Soundings
Important Note To Our Volunteers
Our school recently notified us that all PTO volunteers (Tier 1) must have an active volunteer clearance (valid for 5 years) to participate in the school during the school year. If you clearance has expired, please submit your clearance forms in person directly to the HR department in the RTSD admin building.
