Welcome to the IES PTO

The purpose of the Ithan Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization is to aid the students and staff by providing support, educational and recreational needs and promote open communication between administration, teachers and parents.

  • Spring Thing Kick Off Meeting: Friday, January 24th at 9:30am Radnor Memorial Library, Lower Level Conference Room

    Please join us to begin planning this year’s Spring Thing - Ithan's biggest fundraising event! This
    meeting will offer a chance for parents to learn more about Spring Thing or to volunteer. Stop by
    for coffee and pastries!

    Ithan's largest annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Mark your calendars now!  We are looking for new and returning volunteers to make this annual event a great one in 2020! There are plenty of volunteer opportunities.

    Spring Thing Auction Items are Needed!  Silent auction items are always appreciated - please consider donating!  Popular items from previous years included: weekend at a house (beach or ski), sporting event tickets, or services such as photography, lessons, or personal fitness. We also appreciate monetary donations to help us include great items for our raffle and auction!

  • Science Fair
    Ithan's Science Fair is coming on Monday, February 24th...Time to get those projects started!

  • Ithan Notepads, Magnets, & Field Trip Shirts
    Need to send a note to your teacher?  You can buy your yellow Ithan notepads for $4.00 each in the office.  Also, show your Ithan pride with an IES car magnet in Radnor Maroon for $5.00 each. Maroon field trip shirts are also available in the office for $10.

  • Fundraising - Parent Sponsor Program (PSP)

    Thank you to everyone who has already participated in the Parent Sponsor Program (PSP).  The PTO is able to support Ithan because of the generous support and efforts of our Ithan Families.

Club News

  • Winter/Spring Clubs Registration starts soon! 

    There will be 2 dates on which registration for Winter and Spring Clubs will open.  

     

    January 2‪2nd at 7am:  Registration opens for Yoga, Hip Hop, Chess, Art, Science, Improv and more! Sessions start in early February through mid March.  Registration will be done through 6crickets, and will be live at 7am eastern on January 22nd.  

    Mid-march (exact date TBD): Registration opens for Running, Tennis, our second Science session and more. Sessions start in late March/early April.

     

    Information about all clubs can be found at HERE.  Updated registration information, dates and times for all Winter clubs will be posted by January 12th.

    MLK Day of Service at RHS

    Thank you, Ithan families, for your generous donation of food for the Wayne Food Pantry and baby items for City Team in Chester.  Your response was inspiring!  Please join us to package these items and participate in other hands-on service projects at the...

    4th Annual District-Wide Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 20th at 10 a.m. at RHS!

    This event also will feature donation collections, bake sales, hoops for helping, mindfulness sessions, and more. Open to ALL AGES of RTSD Students and families. Children in grades K-8 must be accompanied by an adult.
