THOMAS G. MORTON SCHOOL BOOK FAIR USED BOOK DONATIONS NEEDED
Please donate gently used or new books for the Thomas G. Morton School in Philadelphia, a K-5 inner city public school with 630 students. Each year, Ithan's Community Outreach Committee holds a free book fair at the Morton School, thanks to the generous book donations from our Ithan community. Our goal is to collect enough books so that each student may take home a few books. Collection boxes will be outside the office from February 18th - March 20th.
Ithan's largest annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Mark your calendars now! We are looking for new and returning volunteers to make this annual event a great one in 2020! There are plenty of volunteer opportunities.
Spring Thing Auction Items are Needed! Silent auction items are always appreciated - please consider donating! Popular items from previous years included: weekend at a house (beach or ski), sporting event tickets, or services such as photography, lessons, or personal fitness. We also appreciate monetary donations to help us include great items for our raffle and auction!
Please Contact: Erin Croke, Marisa Benjamin, or Mary Cate Wilhelm to volunteer or with questions!
Ithan Notepads, Magnets, & Field Trip Shirts
Need to send a note to your teacher? You can buy your yellow Ithan notepads for $4.00 each in the office. Also, show your Ithan pride with an IES car magnet in Radnor Maroon for $5.00 each. Maroon field trip shirts are also available in the office for $10.
Fundraising - Parent Sponsor Program (PSP)
Thank you to everyone who has already participated in the Parent Sponsor Program (PSP). The PTO is able to support Ithan because of the generous support and efforts of our Ithan Families.

IDs Required for All Visitors to Main Offices as Part of Security Update
As of the new year, the district upgraded each school's security system to continue to ensure a safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors. As part of this update, all visitors to district schools will be required to provide a driver's license or Pennsylvania ID to be scanned into the updated system. This procedure also applies to visitors whose IDs were scanned PRIOR to the update to ensure the reestablishment of these individuals in the upgraded system. Thank you for your patience and cooperation in our efforts to keep our schools safe and secure. Ithan's main office recommends parents come in at their earliest convenience to have their licenses scanned for the new system so that there are not long lines during large grade level events later in the year. THANK YOU!
