Radnor High School: iPad Program 2018-19

  • A Message to Students and Parents/Guardians:

A new generation of students expects a learning environment that integrates today’s digital tools, accommodates a mobile lifestyle, adapts to individual learning styles, and encourages collaboration and teamwork. The Radnor Township School District, along with the administrators and staff of Radnor High School, is pleased to announce the seventh year of our iPad Initiative, which serves as an opportunity for students in Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 to help meet these expectations and prepare for the 21st century workforce.

All students will be issued an iPad to be used in all classes. To extend learning, the iPads may be taken home after regular school hours. The device and all accessories remain the property of Radnor Township School District at all times and are loaned to students for educational purposes.

We invite parents of freshmen to attend an iPad Initiative information session just prior to our Open House on Wednesday, September 12, at 6 P.M. in the high school auditorium. Open House will begin at 7 P.M.

This is an exciting initiative and one that we believe will continue the RTSD goal of improving learning through technology. Districts and schools around the nation have been implementing 1-to-1 initiatives for more than a decade. We have taken a measured approach to implementation, electing to move forward at a time when we can fully maximize our opportunities and resources.
