Volunteers arrange for diverse cultural arts programming during school hours throughout the year. To join this group, contact Jody Staples or Kelly Spano.

The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Committee plans events each year that focus on diversity & belonging, and also leads the Welcome Committee that matches new families together with host families. DEI kicks off each Fall with Chalk the Walk, a celebratory whole school event where families come together to shower the school with welcoming messages of belonging and inclusion. DEI also plans an in-school assembly and celebrates two diverse awareness months each year. For the 2023-2024 year, the focus is on Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept-Oct) and Jewish American Heritage Month (May). Contact Diana Rodgers and Shu-wen Wang to get involved.

Volunteers organize and assist staff-run Ithan’s sporting events day, held during school hours in the fall. Contact Lauren O'Rourke or Jen Hesler.

Coordinates homeroom parents at all grade levels and helps distribute information in September. Works with Grade Level Coordinators. Contact Jessica Morel.

Volunteer assists in planting flowers in the planters in front of the Cafetorium.  Contact the Community Outreach Committee.
