Board Approves 2022-23 Budget
The Board approved the 2022-23 General Fund Final Budget at its May 24 meeting. The approved $110,448,456 budget includes a millage increase of .3147 mills, or 2.26%, and is the result of eight months of work between district administration and the Board to create a budget that supports the excellent educational programming provided to our students while being fiscally responsible to our Radnor Township taxpayers.
Highlights of the 2022-23 Budget include:
- Additional staffing supports for English Language Development, Special Education, Counseling, and Mental Health Supports
- Continued funding of current district programs including Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and the Radnor Early Learning Academy
- $1.2 million of ESSER III-funded services addressing academic supports, student services, mental health, and other student-centered supports
- Purchase of new low-emission propane school buses to continue transition of fleet from diesel fueled vehicles
- Budgeted transfer of $1 million to capital projects for upcoming facilities needs
