Board Re-Elects Amy Goldman as President, Sarah Dunn, Esq. as VP
Amy Goldman and Sarah Dunn, Esq. were unanimously re-elected President and Vice President, respectively, of the Radnor Township School District Board of School Directors at the Board's December 6 Reorganization Meeting. Goldman begins her second consecutive term as President and Dunn her second as VP. The seven other board members - Dr. Andrew Babson, Liz Duffy, Jeff Jubelirer, Nancy Monahan, Bradley Moore, Esq., Lydia T. Solomon, and Susan Stern - continue their terms.
Amy Goldman Ms. Goldman began her eighth year of service on the Radnor Township School District School Board in December 2022 and has been re-elected to serve as Board President. Amy served as Board Vice President in 2020 and 2021. Amy has been active as a parent volunteer in Radnor schools for over 15 years. Amy started her Radnor parent volunteer service as Chair of the Cultural Arts Committees for the Ithan and Radnor Middle School PTOs. Amy then served as President of the Radnor Middle School PTO and was the Founder and Chairperson of the Radnor PTOs District-Wide Initiatives Committee. Amy has also been a Board Member of the Radnor Educational Foundation. At the District level, Amy was asked to be a member of the Radnor Township School District Strategic and Comprehensive Planning Committees, Radnor Township School District Technology Integration Study Group, and various other District committees. Since her election to the School Board in 2015, Amy has served on each of the five School Board Committees and for several years as Co-Chair of the School Board’s Government Relations and Communications Committee and Chair of the School Board’s Policy Committee. Amy is serving her second two year term as the volunteer PA School Boards Association’s Sectional Advisor for Section 8 (Southeastern PA). In addition, Amy has served as RTSD’s elected board member to the Delaware County Intermediate Unit and also serves as Co-Chair of the Delaware County School Boards Legislative Council. In June of 2018, Amy completed a nine month Fellowship Program of the PA Education Policy Leadership Center and is in her third term as a member of the Board of Trustees of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Prior to her long time volunteer service, Amy was an Account Executive in television advertising sales at 6ABC in Philadelphia. She holds a B.A. degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania. Amy and her husband have two children. Their daughter is a 2017 graduate of Radnor High School and their son is a 2019 graduate of the Haverford School.
Sarah Dunn Ms. Dunn, Esq. began her sixth year of service on the RTSD School Board in December 2022. She has been a resident of Radnor Township for 17 years and over the past decade has volunteered in the district in various capacities, including as the PTO Chair for the RES production of Cinderella in 2016, assisting with other musical productions at RES and RMS, and volunteering for the RHS Marching Band. Dunn has been a member of the Curriculum, Facilities and Finance committees of the Board. Through her role on the School Board, she also serves as a member of the Radnor Township Parks & Recreation Committee, the Steering Committee for the RHS Athletic Infrastructure Project, and the RTSD Calendar Committee. Dunn represented the Board as a delegate to the 2018 and 2019 Pennsylvania School Board Association’s School Leadership Conference to help set PSBA’s legislative platform. Dunn graduated summa cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in History and has been an active volunteer for the College, including currently serving as Class President. She earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she participated in the Child Advocacy Clinic, assisting at Legal Aid to represent children in the New York City foster care system. She currently practices corporate law on a part-time basis and is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She and her husband, Michael, have two daughters who attend RHS.
