Welcome to the School Year from Principal Young!

Dear Radnor Elementary Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year—the Radnor Elementary School faculty are busy preparing for our opening day on September 6. There is excitement in the air at RES, and we are confident this year will be filled with academic growth, laughter, and joy as our students once again enjoy the many long-standing traditions of excellence at RES.

Mr. Wagner and I are especially excited for the RES classrooms and halls to be filled with the energy and enthusiasm of the entire RES community. We are extremely proud of what we have quickly learned as the RES Way, where students, families, and faculty work collaboratively to ensure all feel welcomed, connected, and a part of this great community. This school year, we will work together to unlock our students' full potential and continue to foster their love for learning through positive relationships.

As you enjoy the remaining days of summer, please know your RES faculty are ready and committed. Teachers are designing engaging instruction using evidenced-based practices, analyzing data to set meaningful goals for continuous improvement, and designing classroom activities that promote the pillars of responsibility, empathy, and self-awareness. The support and collaboration we receive from our families and our Parent Teacher Organization is a critical component of the success of our programs, and we are incredibly excited to invite our families back into the RES building to support our students’ success.

We hope you will help kick off the school year by attending our back-to-school nights, as outlined below:
