School Boundaries
Radnor Township is located 13 miles west of Philadelphia, PA and has a population of approximately 30,000. Radnor Township School District is Radnor Township's only public school system, covering nearly 14 square miles.
Students attending RTSD schools in grades K-5 attend either Ithan, Radnor or Wayne Elementary School depending on their home address and the school boundaries outlined below. All students attending RTSD for grades 6-8 attend Radnor Middle School and all students attending RTSD for grades 9-12 attend Radnor High School.
Ithan Elementary School
Follow the township boundary from the intersection of County Line Road and Roberts Road to the intersection of Landover Road and Haverford Road.
Follow the township boundary to the southwest corner of the township then follow the township boundary northwest to a point just east of the Willows Park. The boundary then turns northeast along the center of Newtown Road to Abrahams Lane, where it turns following the center of Abrahams Lane to a point just southeast of the intersection of Abrahams Lane and Church Road. (The homes on the east side of Abrahams are in the Ithan Elementary boundary.)
The boundary continues behind the homes on Church Road to the intersection of Church Road and Conestoga Road. The homes on both sides of Church Road are not in the Ithan Elementary School boundary. The boundary continues southeast behind the homes on Conestoga Road to the intersection of Conestoga Road and Brookside Avenue (the homes on both sides of Conestoga Road between Church Road and Brookside Avenue are not in the Ithan Elementary boundary).
The boundary continues northeast from the intersection of Brookside Avenue and Conestoga Road to a point just west of the intersection of Radnor-Chester Road and Conestoga Road, continuing behind the homes on the west side of Radnor-Chester Road to a point just west of the intersection of Radnor-Chester Road and Conestoga Road.
Turning east, the boundary continues down the center of Conestoga Road to a point where Conestoga Road meets Route 320 under the Blue Route (Route 476). The boundary then goes south along the Blue Route (Route 476) to a point West of the area between Brandymede Road and Rolling Road.
It then goes east to a point on the eastern side of Hollybush Road, then southwest to the intersection of Wyldhaven Road and Applegate Lane. (Applegate Lane is not in Ithan Elementary boundary.) It then goes behind the homes on the northwest side of Applegate Lane, then between Applegate Lane and Portledge Drive and south at the western edge of Presbyterian Children’s Village to the center of Roberts Road.
The boundary then turns east and follows the center of Roberts to the intersection of Roberts Road and County Line Road.
Radnor Elementary School
Follow the Delaware County boundary from the northeastern boundary of the Valley Forge Military Academy, adjacent to Cabrini College, to the northern corner boundary of the township located near Highview Drive.
Follow the township boundary along the center of County Line Road to the intersection of County Line and Roberts roads. The boundary continues down the center of Roberts Road to a point on the west side of Presbyterian Children’s Village. It then goes north separating the area between Portledge Drive and Applegate Lane (Applegate Lane is included in the Radnor Elementary Boundary) to the intersection of Yorkshire and Wyldhaven.
The boundary then goes north past the far end of Hollybush Road and west to the Blue Route (Rte 476). It then goes north following the Blue Route (Route 476) to the point where Conestoga Road meets Route 320.
The boundary then goes west down the center of Conestoga Road to the area just west of South Radnor Chester Road, continuing to Lancaster Avenue. (The homes on both sides of Radnor Chester Road are within the Radnor Elementary Boundary, but Sinkler Road homes are not.)
Continuing west along the center of Lancaster Avenue to the intersection of Chamounix Road and Lancaster Avenue (Cambria Court homes are in the Radnor Elementary School boundary), the boundary continues along the center of Chamounix Road to St. Davids Avenue.
From the intersection of Chamounix Road and St. Davids Avenue, the boundary continues behind the homes on the west side of Chamounix Road to the intersection of Aberdeen Terrace and Chamounix Road. (The homes on Chamounix Circle are in the Radnor Elementary boundary; the homes on Aberdeen Terrace are not.)
From Aberdeen Terrace and Chamounix Road, the boundary again continues behind the homes on the west side of Chamounix Road to the intersection of Paul Road. The boundary continues down the center of Paul Road and proceeds from the point at the intersection of Paul Road and Eagle Road to the starting point between Valley Forge Military Academy and Cabrini College.
Wayne Elementary School
Follow the Delaware County boundary from the northeastern boundary of the Valley Forge Military Academy, adjacent to Cabrini College, to the corner boundary of the township located at Valley Forge Road and Sugartown roads.
Follow the township boundary to a point on the southwestern edge of the Willows Park in line with Newtown Road. The boundary then turns northeast along the center of Newtown Road to Abrahams Lane where follows the center of Abrahams Lane to a point just Southeast of the intersection of Abrahams Lane and Church Road. (The homes on the East side of Abrahams Lane are not in the Wayne Elementary boundary.)
The boundary continues behind the homes on Church Road to the intersection of Church and Conestoga roads. (The homes on both sides of Church Road are in the Wayne Elementary School boundary.)
The boundary continues southeast behind the homes on Conestoga Road to the intersection of Conestoga Road and Brookside Avenue. (The homes on both sides of Conestoga Road between Church Road and Brookside Avenue are in the Wayne Elementary boundary.)
The boundary continues northeast from the intersection of Brookside Avenue and Conestoga Road to a point just west of the intersection of Radnor-Chester Road and Lancaster Avenue. (Sinkler Road homes are within the Wayne Boundary.)
Continuing west along the center of Lancaster Avenue to the intersection of Chamounix Road and Lancaster Avenue, the boundary continues along the center of Chamounix Road to St. Davids Avenue. From the intersection of Chamounix Road and St. Davids Avenue, the boundary continues behind the homes on the west side of Chamounix Road to the intersection of Aberdeen Terrace and Chamounix
Road. (The homes on Aberdeen Terrace are in the Wayne Elementary boundary; the homes on Chamounix Circle are not.)
From Aberdeen Terrace and Chamounix Road, the boundary again continues behind the homes on the West side of Chamounix Road to the intersection of Paul Road. The boundary continues down the center of Paul Road and proceeds from the point at the intersection of Paul and Eagle roads to the starting point between Valley Forge Military Academy and Cabrini College.
