Nutritional Services
New in the 2025-26 school year, Food Service has changed our name to Nutritional Services to reflect our goal of improving the food our students eat in the RTSD cafeterias. We have committed to excluding any foods which contain petroleum-based food dyes. Following new USDA standards, cereal, yogurt, and milk will have lower sugar levels starting this year. Partnering with the Common Market to source local produce and beef we will be initiating a pilot program to serve local 100% beef burgers at Radnor High School. We are so excited to offer this outstanding product to our students. All schools will have local produce included in the fruits and vegetables offered.
Starting in December 2025 we will be offering farm fresh eggs from Alderfer Farms in Telford, PA. We are happy to support a local farm and provide fresh-certified, humane, vegetarian-fed, nutritious eggs to our students. Hard-boiled eggs are available in the International Cafe and the cafeterias at RHS and RMS. To learn more about the farm, go to the Alderfer Eggs website.

GIANT Feeding School Kids Campaign
RTSD is proud to participate in the GIANT Feeding School Kids campaign! From January 1 – March 31, you can round up at the register at the Giant in St David’s to support our district’s efforts to eliminate childhood hunger. This program has raised over $40,000 in the last 4 years and we were able to provide snacks for after school programs, breakfast at WES summer camps, and a pantry/market at RMS over the summer, providing fresh produce, and breakfast items for our families in need.
Thank you for your continued support which allows us to serve more students outside of the cafeteria. Your generosity is appreciated.
Free Breakfast for All Students

RHS and RMS are participating in the Pennsylvania Governor’s Breakfast Challenge in 2026!
As part of the challenge we will be serving fresh local foods, such as Pennsylvania eggs, turkey bacon, and apples at breakfast.
All Radnor cafeterias offer a hot breakfast every day.
- Monday is French toast with turkey sausage.
- Tuesday is turkey sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich.
- Wednesday is waffles and low-fat yogurt.
- Thursday is egg and cheese sandwich.
- Friday is pancakes.
All bread items are whole grain rich. Entrees come with vegetables, fruit, fruit juice, milk. Please encourage your students to join us for a free breakfast every day!
Free breakfast for ALL students continues this year! Your student’s breakfast meal contains whole grains, fruit or vegetables and milk. We offer breakfast sandwiches twice a week at all schools. Please encourage your students to eat a free breakfast at school. Starting the day with a healthy meal helps with concentration and success at school, which is why Pennsylvania has included free breakfast for all students in the Commonwealth budget.
Free lunch is available for all students who qualify, in addition any student who qualifies for Reduced priced meals will receive a free lunch (part of state budget).
Free & Reduced Lunch
Families are encouraged to apply for free or reduced meals (pricing is free for lunch). In addition to the free\reduced meal pricing approval entitles students to other opportunities, including fee waivers and discounted home internet.
