Teaching and Learning

The Department of Teaching and Learning is responsible for providing district-level leadership and vision of programs and initiatives pertaining to curriculum, instruction, assessments, professional development, and English language development.

RTSD provides support for all programs based on the district's mission, strategic plan, and Pennsylvania academic standards.

Our Team

The Assistant to the Superintendent of Teaching and Learning provides oversight and leadership of building administration for Ithan, Radnor and Wayne Elementary Schools, Radnor Middle School and Radnor High School.

The Director of Curriculum and Instruction oversees the ongoing planning, implementation, development and direction of the district’s teaching and learning practices, aligned with state and national guidelines.

The department promotes challenging learning expectations for all students and works collaboratively with the Director of Technology to integrate technology into the classroom.
