National Day of Unplugging

Unplug & Connect Logo

March 3, 2023 is the National Day of Unplugging. Our annual celebration of connection emphasizes taking the time to "Unplug and Connect." On Friday, March 3, classes will be encouraged to take time to 'disconnect' from technology and 're-connect' with each other. Participating classes will look to limit screens and come together to share a smile and engage in rich, screen-free conversations and activities. Tips for healthy media habits will also be shared with students throughout the week leading up to the Day of Unplugging on Friday, March 3.

We also encourage families to consider taking Friday and Saturday to "Unplug and Connect." Ideas about what to do can be found on the National Day of Unplugging website.
