A 2/21 message from Superintendent Batchelor provides an updated message from the CCHD and confirms RTSD's Phase 1 transition at the elementary level on 2/25.
Grades 3-5 will join K-2 for full day in-person learning on March 1. The elementary schedule for the week of Feb. 22 has been altered as part of the transition. Secondary remains in Phase 2: Hybrid as a review of the program continues.

The program provides students with the opportunity to enrich and accelerate their learning, and recover credits in courses they failed during the regular school year. The 2021 courses are Advanced Algebra I, Advanced Geometry and Honors Geometry. Registration deadline is June 18.
The virtual performance of "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten," originally scheduled for February 19, has been postponed to Friday, March 5. The show will be livestreamed through YouTube Premiere at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are required.
For planning purposes, secondary families are asked to commit to an instructional method by 6 p.m. on 2/5 if students were permitted to attend school in-person every day. The deadline for elementary commitments was also extended through Feb. 3.
