In the name of student health and following the recommendations of major medical organizations, the Board approved a 55-minute later start time of 8:30 a.m. at RHS starting the 2019-20 school year. The middle and elementary schedules will also change.
Radnor Township School District's Department of Teaching and Learning is excited to bring back this summer camp opportunity for the district's rising 3rd-8th graders from July 8-11 and July 15-18.
For the first time in more than 20 years, the RMS team finished first in the State Competition. Student Skyler Le also earned a ticket to nationals where he will compete as a member of the state team from Pennsylvania.
Radnor Elementary School 5th-grader Meredith Gelles will be recognized at a May 9 ceremony. Four of her fellow schoolmates also had entries selected for submission to the county contest.
Lindsay Kent and Annabel Zhao took home the ceremony's highest honors. Julia Foley, Owen Leonard, and Carter Young earned Honorable Mentions.
Participants will tour 6 stunning kitchens in Wayne that reflect the latest trends in kitchen design. Proceeds will help provide scholarships for students in the RHS Class of 2019.
On March 26, the RTSD Sleep and School Start Time Committee recommended an 8:30 a.m.-3:10 p.m. schedule at RHS; a 7:50 a.m.-2:40 p.m. schedule at RMS; and a 9:07 a.m.-3:40 p.m. schedule at the elementary level.
