January 22, 2021

Radnor High School Seniors: RHS Scholarship Fund Accepting Applications for Scholarships

Application Deadline is Wednesday, March 24

Members of the Radnor High School Class of 2021 are invited to submit applications for scholarships through the Radnor High School Scholarship Fund (RHSSF).

Students eligible for these scholarships include graduating seniors residing in Radnor Township who have attended Radnor High School for the three consecutive years prior to graduation. Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States, a Pennsylvania and Radnor resident, and be working toward a degree or certification in a post-secondary program.
Scholarships are based on financial need, extracurricular activities and community service. Grades are also a factor, but selection represents all levels of grade-point averages.

Interested students can download the application on the RHSSF website. The application also includes information on the required Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms.

All application materials must be submitted to the Radnor High School Counseling Office by Wednesday, March 24.

Each graduating class has a specific budget available. The amount is dependent upon the success of RHSSF fundraising activities. Commitments of scholarships are made for up to four years of full-time study and continuation of support over these years is contingent upon continuing financial need, satisfactory performance (C average or better) and RHSSF's ability to fund the program. Most recently, 20 members of the RHS Class of 2019 received needs-based scholarships.

The Radnor High School Scholarship Fund was founded in 1966 to provide financial aid to deserving graduates of Radnor High School for post-high school education. Since its inception, the RHSSF has awarded over 950 scholarships totaling $2.7 million. Recipients attend a wide range of educational institutions including universities, colleges, Delaware County Community College, and schools specializing in music, art, culinary training, etc.
