Across Radnor Township School District on November 12, time was taken to honor those who have served in the Armed Forces.

At Radnor High School, students and staff attended an assembly in the gym that featured original poetry by RHS students and a special recognition of hometown hero Lt. Col. William Bonelli, a 97-year-old Radnor resident and retired member of the U.S. Air Force who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and served our country for 53 years. At Wayne Elementary School, parent and USMC veteran Major Mary Kay Church spoke to 4th-grade students. Radnor Middle School 8th-grader Elizabeth Johnstone traveled to Media, PA to read her award-winning essay at the annual Veterans Day Parade.
