Radnor High School senior Keara Seasholtz could not be caught during the Pennsylvania Track & Field Coaches Association (PTFCA) Indoor State Championships on March 1 at Penn State University, winning gold in the 800 Meter Run and shedding nearly four seconds off her indoor personal record with a time of 2:10.8. She also set the new school record for the indoor event.
Keara competed against a strong field of competitors in the 800 Meter Run, including teammate Lucy Henkle who finished in 10th place. They both went on to join Lucy Minning and Jill Matunis for a 14th place finish in the 4x400 Meter Relay. Their group's time of 4:05.1 set a new school record in the indoor event.
Also bringing home hardware for Radnor High School were Chris Belz, Frank Brown, Owen Leonard and Luke O'Malley, who took silver in the distance medley relay. The foursome finished in 10:22.5 and set a new school record in the indoor event.
A total of sixteen Radnor High School student-athletes qualified for and competed in the Indoor State Championships. The other athletes that competed were Phineas Bond, Max Dooley, Bridget Dougherty, Seneca Farhy, Grace Frigerio, Abigail Idiculla, Deke Magen and Louis Minning.
