Kelly Corrigan to Present Graduation Keynote

New York Times Bestselling Author Kelly Corrigan to Present Keynote Address During Virtual Class of 2020 Commencement Ceremony

New York Times bestselling author Kelly Corrigan, a 1985 graduate of Radnor High School and 2015 RHS Hall of Fame inductee, will address the Class of 2020 and their families and friends during the Radnor High School commencement ceremony this June.

Corrigan's keynote address will be prerecorded and included in a special 2020 commencement video that will premiere on the RTSD YouTube channel on Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. Other speakers include superintendent Ken Batchelor, Class of 2020 student government officers, valedictorian Ryan Oliver and salutatorian Helen Hu. Individual graduation ceremonies will take place outside of Radnor High School on Wednesday, June 10.

Corrigan has been called “the voice of her generation” by O: The Oprah Magazine and “the poet laureate of the ordinary” by HuffPost. She is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Middle Place, Lift, Glitter and Glue, and most recently, Tell Me More.

A contributor to PBS, The Today ShowThe New York Times and O: The Oprah Magazine, Corrigan is also the author of a forthcoming children’s book, Hello World, and the editor of an anthology called Thanks Ma, both of which will be released in 2021. She is also developing a podcast and a weekly television show.

Corrigan lives near Oakland, California, with her husband, Edward Lichty, and her daughters, Georgia and Claire.
