Lydia T. Solomon

Lydia T. Solomon began her eleventh year of service on the RTSD School Board in December 2019. While on the Board, she has served as the Board President, Board Vice President, Chair and Vice Chair of the Curriculum Committee, the Government Relations Committee, the Policy Committee, and the Facilities Committee. In addition, she has served as the Board Representative to the Delaware County Community College Liaison Board. a Board Member to the Delaware County Intermediate Unit and a representative to the Parent-Teacher Organization Coordinating Council. She is a school psychologist employed at the DCIU and has taught as a college professor at Eastern University in the Education Department. She holds a B.S. degree from Cornell University and graduate degrees from the University of California and Immaculata University. Ms. Solomon has also served as the PTO president for elementary, middle and high school levels in Radnor. Ms. Solomon has three children who have graduated from the Radnor school system. She is honored to serve the community in this way.
