Description:  Sixth (6th) Grade Social Studies students will study world geography and cultures.  This course will give students a firm grasp of the characteristics of places and regions, the patterns of human development around the world, and the interactions of peoples, places, and environments. Geographically-informed citizens make informed judgments to improve their community, state, country, and world.  They understand how all of these realms are interrelated.
