How is device distribution being handled for 5th-graders? (March 24)
In an effort to make online learning easier for our elementary students and families, the district has moved forward with plans to acquire additional technology to ensure all students have access to a device during the closure. Each elementary school student will receive a Chromebook that he/she will be able to bring home and use to complete activities and assignments as prepared and posted by his/her teacher on Schoology.
Devices for students in Grade 5 ONLY will be available for pick-up at each elementary school on Wed., March 25. 5th-Grade families should have received an email from their school's principals with more detailed directions on March 24. Information about the distribution of devices to students in grades K-4 will be shared at a later date. Devices will be distributed outside of the school building and the district has received assurance from Radnor Police Department Superintendent Christopher Flanagan that distributing technology is essential and not a violation of Governor Tom Wolf’s order.
