Camp Canadensis 2026

About Camp

During three days at Camp Canadensis , all RTSD 5th-grade students who register for the trip will participate in fun and engaging lessons taught by RTSD elementary staff. Some of the lessons include pond study, wildlife study, forest study, fishing, Pennsylvania water life, canoeing, kayaking, a low ropes confidence course, hiking, orienteering, outdoor survival skills, and a sensory trail. In the evenings, activities and movies are provided. The students will be extremely busy all three days and will be supervised at all times. Approximately 25 staff members will accompany the children while at camp. Representation from the elementary administration will also be on site at all times.

Camp At A Glance

When: Wednesday, May 13 to Friday, May 15, 2026

  • May 13: Students will need to arrive at their school to depart by 7:45 a.m.
  • May 15: Students will leave camp and return to their school by 2:45 p.m.
